The dances at Aussie Dances on Saturday nights are a mix of Ballroom, Latin, New Vogue, Rock ‘n Roll, Swing, some popular Sequence Dances, and even the occasional Line dance . 

Many of our dancers on Saturday nights prefer to dress marginally more formally than our Friday night dancers. Some men for example prefer to wear ties, with the ladies dressing similarly (not with ties necessarily, but with the same level of formality), however smart casual is still OK.

During the warmer months of the year we run our Saturday night dances on a weekly basis, but have reduced frequency during the cooler months. See the 2008 Dances page of our main web site for the date and venue of our next Saturday night dance.

We have now made the start and finish times of our Saturday night dances the same as our dances on Friday nights. The social dancing starts at 8.00 PM and continues through until 11.30 PM. The cost is $12 per person, which is payable at the door. If you have a party coming along, we do accept table bookings. Give Ian a call on 5547 7187 or 0400 106 654.

An Aussie Dance is a great place to celebrate a birthday party, or other special event. You are welcome to bring along your own birthday cake etc., to share with the rest of your party, and we will all sing “Happy Birthday” to you to the best of our ability.

Our Friday and Saturday night Aussie Dances are preceded by a FREE DANCE LESSON for all Aussie Dances participants. The lesson is taken by one of the many prominent Dance Studios with whom Aussie Dances has formed a strategic alliance. These lessons are between 7.00 PM and 8.00 PM.
