Our Friday night dances at Aussie Dances are conducted at the Mt Gravatt Bowls Club in Brisbane. Mt Gravatt Bowls Club is situated at 1873 Logan Road, Upper Mt Gravatt. A map of the venue is available by clicking on the link.

Aussie Dances Friday night dance starts at 8.00 PM and continues through until 11.30 PM. A list of the bands and performers that we have working with us is on our main site on the 2008 Dances page.

The emphasis during our Friday night dances is Rock ‘n Roll. However other varieties of dance music are also played by the top LIVE bands and performers we have. We have given each of the groups working with Aussie Dances a page of their own on our main web site. This list with links to the various artists you can access by clicking on the Gig Guide link

The dress code for our Friday night dances is Smart Casual. We generally have teachers and students from several dance clubs attending our Friday night dances. Many of these club members prefer to wear their “club” printed polo shirts. This is welcomed by Aussie Dances, as we are happy to promote all of the dance clubs that support us.

The cost is $10 per person, which is payable at the door. If you have a party coming along, we do accept table bookings. Give Ian a call on 5547 7187 or 0400 106 654.

An Aussie Dance is a great place to celebrate a birthday party, or other special event. You are welcome to bring along your own birthday cake etc., to share with the rest of your party, and we will all sing “Happy Birthday” to you to the best of our ability.
